The NPA has stepped forward to lead and said that we need to have a conversation about treatment, or more accurately the lack of it, in our current model of care.<\/span><\/p>\nWe keep hearing about the \u201cPortugal model\u201d, but what happens in Portugal is far removed from the abusive and ineffective model we employ here in Vancouver.<\/span><\/p>\nAll the while, other parties think they can avoid the issue and hope Vancouverites will buy their \u201cnothing to see here\u201d approach.<\/span><\/p>\nOur most vulnerable deserve better.
