The NPA has stepped forward to lead and said that we need to have a conversation about treatment, or more accurately the lack of it, in our current model of care.

We keep hearing about the “Portugal model”, but what happens in Portugal is far removed from the abusive and ineffective model we employ here in Vancouver.

All the while, other parties think they can avoid the issue and hope Vancouverites will buy their “nothing to see here” approach.

Our most vulnerable deserve better. The NPA has taken the lead by starting to have the tough conversations and proposing real solutions.
