As a Vancouver taxpayer, you’re now chipping in to help pay for a $700,000 frivolous, virtue-signaling lawsuit against oil companies, courtesy of our out-of-touch mayor, Kennedy Stewart.

With so many of our core services here in Vancouver falling apart under Kennedy Stewart, the NPA team believes this is the WRONG time to lock taxpayers into frivolous, politically motivated lawsuits.

The NPA believes that money would be better spent repairing local infrastructure, investing in affordable housing, and supporting our great police and first responders.

If you agree, help us speak out today!

Add our name to this new petition and say NO to Kennedy Stewart’s political lawsuit $700,000 and help the NPA end the virtue signaling at City Hall.

As a Vancouver taxpayer, you’re now chipping in to help pay for a $700,000 frivolous, virtue-signaling lawsuit against oil companies, courtesy of our out-of-touch mayor, Kennedy Stewart.

That’s right. It was Kennedy Stewart himself who cast the deciding vote at City Council to go ahead with this crazy lawsuit.

The mayor, of course, didn’t consult anyone before making this decision.

The NPA has been crystal clear.

With so many of our core services here in Vancouver falling apart under Kennedy Stewart, it is our position that locking taxpayers into frivolous, politically motivated lawsuits is absolutely WRONG.

That  $700,000 would be better spent repairing local infrastructure, making parks clean and safe for all, and supporting our great police and first responders.

That’s why the NPA is committed to conducting an audit of all non-core services at City Hall and getting local government out of the business of wasting tax dollars on virtue signaling enterprises if I’m elected mayor in October.

There will no more ideological, headline-chasing lawsuits if John Coupar is elected  Mayor – just core services delivered well!

But to win the mayor’s race, the NPA needs your help. Join our campaign today and help us make Vancouver Safe and Affordable.

Our NPA team is planning a new social media petition campaign to build public support for our plan to focus on core services and end the virtue signaling at City Hall, and, as I write you, our voter contact efforts are ramping up. Save

Vancouver deserves a mayor focused on making YOUR life better, not exploiting your tax dollars to cater to his political base.

If you agree, we hope you’ll support the NPA team in any way you can.

Sincerely,

Vancouver NPA
